MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin Young’ Song of Hope at Noon’ featured an unexpected guest appearance by ITZY, the K-pop girl group who recently made a comeback with their new mini-album titled “BORN TO BE” on January 10 KST.
On the show, Kim Shin Young playfully asked what the full tracklist for the album would entail, “I thought it was a long time coming, but didn’t you think about adding just one more song to complete it?”
After observing the number of songs on the album, ITZY members were convinced that it was adequate for a full-length album. They also wanted to provide fans with plenty of great music.
Yuna and Yeji also gave their opinions on the choreography’s level, grading it 75 out of 100. Chaeryeong had a slightly different opinion, giving it 69, saying, “This dance is easy to follow, at least from me.” However, Ryujin later stated that she found it to be “the most challenging dance.”
After performing “U-Go-Girl” at a music festival, Yuna was asked if she would be interested in appearing on KBS 2TV’s new music talk show. She responded with enthusiasm, saying: “I would have been very much appreciated and excited… I have so much respect for her that I would feel quite nervous.”
The other ITZY members were also thrilled and honored to be included in the show. When Kim Shin Young mentioned a group performance of “U-Go-Girl” being performed, the members responded with enthusiasm, saying, “Wow, that’s fantastic!”
