A K-pop high school will be opening in Korea?

A high school specializing in K-pop and related genres will be opened in Busan by converting an upcoming closed middle school.

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education announced on Sunday that a high school in Busans, which will teach K-pop and train students in related performances, will open in March 2028. Yonhap News reported that the school will be the first of its kind in the Southeastern port city located 320 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Its primary goal is to educate students from all over Asia, including vocals, dance, instruments, and other arts, with aimed at both domestic and international students.
