According to foreign media reports, Roadside Attractions and Vertical have acquired the North American distribution rights for “Agitator,” a historical thriller featuring Alicia Vicander, Jude Law, and Eddie Masson. The film is expected to hit theaters in North America on June 21st next year and debut in the main competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Karim Enoz directs the film about English Queen Catherine Parr, who was King Henry VIII’s last of six wives and held the title of Queen from 1543 to 1547. She is also the queen with the highest number of marriages in England, having been married four times.
