Park Eun Bin’s popular drama ‘Castaway Diva’ apologizes after backlash for leaving behind the props on Jeju island beach

Park Eun Bin’s tvN drama ‘Castaway Diva’ has been the subject of controversy due to its failure to clean up the props after filming. The production team has apologized and stated that they will restore the site to where it was originally taken.

There are suspicions that the filming crew may have used the location without prior approval. Although it is a legal requirement to obtain permits and administrative cooperation for filmmaking in such locations, the drama was reportedly filmed without these necessary procedures. An official from Seogwipo City stated that “Upon inspection of the site for any signs of unauthorized use, we will take appropriate measures, including restoration orders.”

This isn’t the first controversy surrounding ‘Castaway Diva’. Just before the broadcast last May, another man in his 40s threw bricks at a filming location in Changsin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul; one female staff member was injured when the man admitted to police that he got annoyed by the light and noise during filmING so it interfered with her sleep, raising suspicions over the excessive noise pollution caused by this crew of filmers.

In the meantime, ‘Castaway Diva’ follows in the footsteps of Seo Mok Ha (played by Park Eun Bin), who was once a singer but ended up on.
