J.Y. Park, &TEAM, and BOYNEXTDOOR added to the lineup for part one of the ‘KBS Gayo Festival’, the ‘2023 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’

Three new artists have been announced to perform at the ‘2023 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’, which is believed to be the first part of this year’s upcoming prestigious.

Previously, there had been speculation that KBS would be hosting its annual year-end music festival in Japan, which received significant criticism from Korean netizens. To counter this, the station changed the name of the scheduled performance on December 9 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan to the ‘2023 Music Bank Global Festival inJapan’, with the aim of issuing a separate event rather than the traditional occurrence of having both events.

SHINee, Kang Daniel, The Boyz, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ITZY, STAYC, ENHYPEN, Kep1er, NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, and NiziU have all confirmed their participation for this event. As of October 13, KST, three additional artists, J.Y. Park, DJ &TEAM, AND ENHIPO… are now in the running!

Meanwhile, the ‘2023 KBS Gayo Festival’ is set to take place on December 15 at the KBBY Hall in Yeouido. The performing artists for this year’s event have not been confirmed by KBC.
