Kim Hye Soo and Joo Ji Hoon’s ‘Hyena’ slated for a Japanese remake

The highly acclaimed drama ‘Hyena’, featuring notable actors Kim Hye Soo and Joo Ji Hoon, is set to captivate Japanese audiences with a much-anticipated remake. The announcement came from Keyeast on September 12, revealing that the Japanese version of the SBS drama ‘Hyena’ is expected to make its premiere on TV Tokyo on October 20.
The character of Jeong Geum Ja, originally portrayed by Kim Hye Soo, is being brought to life by Ryoko Shinohara, a supremely talented actress well-known for her roles in popular Japanese dramas. Ikusaburo Yamazaki is set to step into the shoes of Yoon Hee Jae, a role brought to life by Joo Ji Hoon in the original. Yamazaki’s burgeoning career includes noteworthy performances in musicals and appearances in dramas.’Hyena’ tells the gripping tale of lawyers who represent the top 1% of society, delving into their ruthless and often bloody struggle for survival.
